Overview
Ampyr Energy USA is a rapidly growing utility-scale solar and energy storage developer backed by sophisticated institutional capital. As the company advances its construction-ready pipeline and capital deployment strategy, we are seeking a Senior Finance Manager to lead execution across project finance and project-level M&A.
This role will serve as the transaction lead for tax equity, construction debt, term debt, and asset sales. The Senior Finance Manager will drive structuring, negotiation, diligence coordination, and closing across multiple concurrent transactions, working directly with senior leadership and external capital providers.
This is a high-ownership, high-visibility role with meaningful influence over capital strategy and transaction outcomes. This position reports to the Managing Director of Finance & Investments.

Core Responsibilities

Capital Structuring & Execution
1. Lead end-to-end execution of tax equity, construction financing, and term loan transactions
2. Structure capital stacks to optimize risk allocation and returns
3. Negotiate term sheets and definitive documentation
4. Manage lender and investor relationships throughout diligence and closing
5. Ensure transactions are executed on schedule and aligned with corporate objectives

Project Sales & Strategic M&A
1. Lead sell-side processes for project-level asset sales
2. Oversee financial advisor coordination and buyer diligence workstreams
3. Evaluate bid structures and negotiate commercial terms
4. Support evaluation and execution of strategic acquisitions

Financial Leadership
1. Oversee and validate complex project finance models
2. Independently build and modify models when required
3. Conduct advanced scenario and sensitivity analysis
4. Translate financial outputs into actionable commercial decisions

Capital Markets Interface
1. Maintain and deepen relationships with tax equity investors, lenders, and infrastructure capital providers
2. Monitor evolving market conditions and inform capital strategy
3. Contribute to broader corporate capital initiatives

Team & Platform Development
1. Provide deal leadership and mentorship to analysts and associates
2. Establish transaction execution standards and best practices
3. Transition into formal management responsibility as the team scales

Qualifications

1. 8–15 years of experience in renewable energy project finance or infrastructure M&A
2. Demonstrated experience leading transactions from structuring through financial close
3. Deep understanding of tax equity, construction financing, and capital stack structuring
4. Advanced Excel modeling capability; able to build and audit models independently
5. Experience at a renewable energy developer, IPP, infrastructure investor, or investment bank
6. Bachelor’s degree required, MBA or equivalent preferred
